Samuel W. Jack is Of Counsel at Impresa. He focuses his practice on government contracts and grants, international development, and corporation governance and transactions. Sam has significant experience advising government agencies and companies in contract negotiations and disputes, and is a subject matter expert on small business contracting, counterterrorism vetting, grant compliance, and bid protests.

Previously, Sam was an attorney with the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of the General Counsel where he served as acquisition and assistance counsel and supported USAID Missions worldwide. He has published numerous articles on government contracting topics and he is a recipient of the Administrator’s Excellence in Customer Service Award. Previously, he worked in the Washington, D.C. office of an Am Law 100 law firm, representing defense and aerospace clients in federal litigation and in mergers and acquisitions.

Sam is also an attorney with the Dempsey Law Firm, a 150-year old law firm with offices throughout Wisconsin, where he focuses his practice on municipal law, government contracts, and civil litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BA) and the George Washington University Law School (JD) and currently resides with his family in Cedarburg, WI.
